    5. Repair and Maintenance

    To guarantee normal operation of the machine and to extend its service life, the user should always maintain it.

    5.1 After the new machine is operating, check the machine when work finishes. About two weeks later, check the machine every month. And check wholly the electrical motor and lubrication of the equipments each week.

    The contents of check should cover the fastening of fixed parts, belt transmission, the seal of bearings, switches of the electrical machine.

    5.2. Check the main parts such as the hammers, the impact plate, and the liners every week. And establish a system for maintaining and replacing periodically according to the repairing circle.

    5.3. Adjustment of distance between rotor and the impact plate.
    When the rotor is running, the distance between the rotor and the impact plate can’t be adjusted. If the stuff is blocked between the impact plate and the frame, hold up the impact frame slightly before adjusting the distance again, in this way, the stuff will be loose and the impact frame easy to be adjusted. If the holding up of the impact frame isn’t enough, beat the loose pole (to protect with a wooden plate). The distance between the rotor and the impact plate can be finished by the adjustment device. First loosen the screw pole, next move the long screw nut and then the pole will move in the arrowhead direction. When it is adjusted well, fasten tightly the screw pole. The distance size can be observed by opening the repair door of the frame. The user must pay special attention and the above work must be done after stopping the machine in case some accidents happen.

    5.4. Replacement of the tear and wear parts
    When replacing the tear and wear parts, open the back frame first. The machine adopt ratchet device. Remove the join screw bolts between the back frame and middle box-frame first, next two persons operate the handles on the ratchet device on two sides at the same time and open the frame slowly. Meanwhile, take advantage of the hanging device above the frame to hang up the back frame. And then move the direction-changeable handle on the ratchet wheel. Repeating the above process, close the back frame.

    5.4.1. Hammers
    When the hammers are worn to a certain degree, adjust or replace it timely in case the fasteners and other parts are damaged.

    Open the back frame with ratchet device, move the rotor manually and shift the adjusted or replaced hammers nearby inspection door for checking and repairing, and then fix the rotor. Remove the location parts of the hammers: first shift the location parts to a proper situation, and next remove the fastening block in the axial direction. Then push the hammers out from the inspection door in the axial direction, or hang it out from the middle of the frame. When remove it, knock at slowly with hand hammer.

    When installing the hammers, just reverse the above steps. However, pay attention that hammer with similar weight should be installed in the opposite position in case there is an imbalance during working time.

    5.4.2. The impact plates
    Open back frame, remove pins, screw nuts and screw bolts used for fixing the impact plates, then replace the worn impact plates. If installing the new ones, just reverse the above steps.

    5.4.3. If adjust the liners, you must open the back frame. All the liners are allowed to interchange between serious abraded area and little abraded area. When a plate is worn out only on one side, it can be moved 90 or 180 degree and used continually. When the stuff blocks the impact frame, decrease the distance by putting gasket rings and screw bolts behind the impact plate beside the impact frame.

    5.4.4. The adjustment of distance between the bottom of entrance and the hammers.
    There is square steel at the bottom of entrance. When one side is abraded, rotate it for 90 degree to control outlet of non-crushed stuff. When adjusting, remove the square covers on both sides of the frame and then pull out the square steel, rotate it and install.

    5.5 assemble and disassemble of locking Assemblies
    No-key and locking Assemblies connection is used for fixing of large pulley.

    When assemble or disassemble the locking Assemblies, please loose screw in the sequence of cross angles, however please not pull out all the screw. Remove bolt and washer, hit the head of all bolts in order to loose the locking asseblies and pull it out.

    Clean all relative parts before assemble the locking assemblies, add enough grease. All grease shall not contain molybdenum disulfide additive. Then put locking assemblies between shaft and pulley, fasten locking bolt, push the grooved pulley in right position with tooles. Finally fasten screw in the sequence of cross angles on the circle with torque wrench (1/3 MA, 1/2MA, MA) until all screws reach the given MA. Before using torque wrench, please check MA=125.N.M. Then put anti-rust grease on the outside part of locking assemblies and head of screw.

    5.6. Lubrication
    The user must confirm to the lubricating instruction strictly to make sure the crusher works commonly and efficiently.

    5.6.1. Pay attention to and do well the lubrication of the abrasion surface frequently.
    5.6.2. Lubricant changes according to the weather condition of the place.
    5.6.3. Add grease lubrication in the bearings once for every eight hours’ working. The bearing at two ends of main shaft adopts molybdenum disulfide grease (3# lithium based grease).
    5.6.4. Change the lubricating oil once every three months. Before changing the oil, wash the bearings carefully with clean petrol or coal oil. The antifriction grease added to the bearings should be 50~70% of its capacity.
    5.6.5. In common situation, the temperature rise of the bearings should not exceed 70 degree. If there is something abnormal, stop the machine immediately and find out the reasons.

    5.7. The possible problem and solution

    6. Operating Rules

    6.1. Before starting the machine every shift, check whether the fastening bolts of each rotary part are loose. If it happens, fasten immediately. Check the screw bolts once in a week.

    6.2. The machine should be fed evenly and the metal wastes are forbidden access to the machine.
    When the operator hears a metal knock or the ammeter shows overload, stop the machine at once. After the machine stop safely and the block is removed, check whether the relevant rotary accessories are damaged.

    6.3. The machine can only be started without loading. Stop the machine only when the stuff is crushed and discharged outside.

    7. Safety Rules

    7.1.When the machine is running, the worker cannot stand in inertia area。The control box should not be placed in this area.

    7.2. When the machine is running, forbidden to open the repairing door to observe the inside situation and to do any adjustment, cleaning and repair in case something dangerous happens.

    7.3. It is forbidden to put some stuff that can’t be crushed into the machine in case the machine is damaged.

    7.4. When the machine is repaired cut off the power first.

    7.5. In the process of the operation of the machine, it is forbidden to have over-load work for the machine.

    7.6. The electric equipment should be grounded and the electric line is reliable and insulating, installed in the stone pipe.

    7.7. When open or close the top cover, it is forbidden that people stand under the top cover. Make sure that it is completely safe before repair, and installation.
